Decide what you need before opening the sale
Write down the item, the specification you need and a spending limit. For a replacement or gift, note the size, material, compatibility and what is included. A similar photograph is not enough to show that two listings are the same product.
Compare what you will actually pay
Compare the identical item or specification across relevant stores. Include delivery and any other charges displayed for your destination. If you have recorded an earlier price for the same item, use that record; do not invent a price history or treat a struck-through reference price as independent evidence of a saving.
Apply only the coupon you qualify for
Open the offer in your own account. Check the spending threshold, eligible items, expiry and whether it can be combined with another offer. On Temu, a coupon threshold and minimum order value can be separate requirements. If a bundle is advertised, calculate savings from the individual coupon usable on your order rather than from the whole bundle total.
Do the basket arithmetic
Illustrative example, not a live offer: a qualifying 60-dollar basket with a 10-dollar discount and 5 dollars in delivery charges has a 55-dollar total before any other displayed charges. Compare that total with the alternative store and your original budget. Adding an unwanted 12-dollar item to receive a 5-dollar discount increases spending by 7 dollars.
Check delivery and returns, then decide
Check the delivery estimate for your destination and the item-specific return conditions. Save the relevant order and offer details privately if you buy.
